Gemstone identification (lab report fee extra)
Value appraisal
Cutting ranges on size, weight, value, and cutting success.
Cost is dependent on volume and challenge. (There is no charge on a single stone for cutting even one that is rejected due to cutting risk to the stone – fractures)// Challenge is the degree of excitement a stone with excellent internal characteristics like growth bands, crystals, and fluid inclusions or flawless might have. I guarantee these will be at no cost.)
Optional Lab Identification: GIA lab service is available at your expense.
Rough Estimation: Free preliminary report with:
Rough dimension ranges
Estimated cutting size range (including % loss)
Best cut shape (pattern(s)) recommended for the stone
Please note a small window may be necessary to cut into the edge or face of a stone to evaluate internal characteristics. Typically, river-abraded gemstone pebbles are frosted.
