FOco Gems LLC. is a Geologic Consulting Company offering services for Oil and Gas (including inert gases). Our principal investigator, Joel Guttormsen, has over forty years of domestic and global experience in Exploration, Appraisal, and Development. We have comprehensive experience in all depositional systems and physical situations, with broad experience in Green and Brownfield development. We have extensive experience with resources and reserves, mineral evaluations, and providing geologic advice to a variety of companies.

Foco Gems LLC offers gemstone identification, appraisal, cutting, and limited gemstone repair work. Our services are as Follows:

• Appraisal of cut and rough stones for cutting

• Cutting – Standard cuts, Bespoke specialty cutting, less expensive foreign cutting, full Cabachoan services except working on JET.

• Cutting – foreign cutting – standard cuts, and bulk cutting

• Stone modifications – Heat treating (sent to Montana or China)

Gemstones for sale: FOco Gems sells unique cut stones. The company has amassed a collection of over 2500 quality stones worldwide.

Joel Guttormsen (J2G) started writing books on the trains to and from London and later at home while working in the UK. At the end of Covid-19, he returned home to Colorado and continued his writing experience. 

Joel passionately integrates his science experiences in writing science fiction and fiction. He brings a fun, unique perspective with fresh ideas told with a storyteller's flair.
